Abstract
ABSTRACT Rini, Angga Elsa. 2017. This research aims to understand how to polite language analysis (keigo) in Nazotoki wa Dinner no Atode Movie. Departement of japanese studies faculty of humanities. Diponegoro university. The first advisor, Elizabeth I.H.A.N.R, S.S, M.Hum. The second advisor, S.I Trahutami, S.S, M.Hum. Keigo is a variety of language used to express respect for other people who are older and those who are not too close. Keigo is not only used in everyday conversation, but also on education, employment and business. In this study the authors choose the title ‘Polite Language Analysis (Keigo) in Nazotoki wa Dinner no Atode Movie. The data used in this study is a Nazotoki wa Dinner no Atode movie by Tokuya Higashigawa. The object of this research is the use keigo conversation in Nazotoki wa Dinner no Atode movie. The result of this study are found polite language diversities (keigo) there are sonkeigo, kenjougo and teineigo. Sonkeigo used to elevate the speaker, kenjougo used to humiliate the other person, while teineigo is used to soften the words used to honor the other person on persons in question.
