Abstract
ABSTRACT Puspita, Dea Andrey. 2016. "Analysis Toki, Sai, and Koro in Japanese Sentences (Studies of Syntax and Semantics)". Thesis, Bachelor Degree Majoring Japanese Literature. Diponegoro University. Advisor/Supervisor Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S, M. Hum. In this thesis the author discuss "The Toki, Sai, and Koro in Japanese Sentences (Studies of Syntax and Semantics)". The author chose the title because toki, sai, and koro express the same thing but there are some differences and it leads to frequent errors for Japanese language learners, so it need a study to know the difference betwenn toki, sai, and koro. The first step, author collected data through a variety of sources, then the writer sort the data and analyzes it using distributable and descriptive. Toki has meaning which indicates a situation that happens suddenly, showing continuous events or habits of the past, and show event that occur only once. Sai has the meaning which shows the time and indicates the additional meaning like kikkake, chansu, or kikai 'opportunity' which there is a decision to be taken. Koro has the meaning that indicated uncertain times. Keywords: Toki, Sai, Koro
