Abstract

ABSTRACT Novy Hanna Yusuf, 2016. “Analysis the Correlation of the Intrinsic Elements of Hoshi Shin’ichi’s short story, Koroshiya Desunoyo. Thesis of Japanese Literature, Diponegoro University, Semarang, First advisor,Budi Mulyadi, Spd.M.Hum. Second advisor Fajria Noviana, SS, M.Hum. In this study, the writer would like to examine correlation among the Koroshiya Desunoyo’s intrinsic elements by using structural methods. The correlation between the elements are namely: theme and character and characterization, theme and setting, theme and message, character and characterization and setting, character and characterization and plot, and character and characterization and point of view. The objective of the study is to anaylyze the structural elements and the correlation among the intrinsic elements of Hoshi Shin’ichi’s short story, Koroshiya Desunoyo. The data which is used for the study is one of Hoshi Shin’ichi’s short stories titledKoroshiya Desunoyoin his book, Bokko Chan, publised in 1971. The result of the study is to know the correlation among the intrinsic elements which constucts a whole story. Keywords: structural elements, elements correlation, structure former
