GAMBARAN PERSEPSI ORANG TUA TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN SEKS PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI SDN 2 BANJARSARI KECAMATAN WINDUSARI KABUPATEN MAGELANG

Abstract

Many people who think sex is taboo, makes people not learn and teach about sex to children. Sex education actually prevent sexual disorders and sexual crimes. But the lack of understanding that sex is only seen from the negative side. The purpose of this study is to describe the perception of parents towards sex education to school-age children in SDN 2 Banjarsari, District Windusari, Magelang. This research is descriptive quantitative method. Sampling is total sampling with 131 respondents older people. The results of this study showed older people with negative perceptions of 51.1% and the positive perception of 48.9%. The advice given to the public is to continue to find out about sex and its impact as well as eliminating the perception of taboos about sex, so as to provide better sex education for children.
