PENGUKURAN TINGKAT EFISIENSI PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH DI PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH

Abstract

Decentralization aims to improve the welfare of the community, regional governments are considered to have better information provide public goods for the community, through the decentralization policy of government spending can be more efficient. This study aims to calculate the score of efficiency of spending in the public service, education, health, equity, stability and economic achievement by using analysis Data Envelopment Analysis. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is an analysis method to calculate efficiency scores between the unit of economic activity, DEA calculation using comparative analysis between input and output. Inputs used in this study is the percentage of the budget per GDP in the related sector while output that is used is measurement of the indicator. The results showed that the amount of government spending on the public utilities, education, health, equity, stability and economic achievement is still not efficient.
