ANALISIS ADVERBIACHOTTO DALAM KALIMAT BAHASA JEPANG 副詞「ちょっと」の分析

Abstract

The thesis advisor Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S, M.Hum In writing this research, the writer discussed “The Analysis of Adverb Chotto in Japanese Sentence”. The writer chose this tittle because chotto adverb has more than one meaning that constructs difficulties to differentiate it. The aims of this research are : 1. To describe the structure of chotto adverb in Japanese sentence. 2. To describe the meaning of chotto adverbin Japanese sentence.The first step of conducting this research was collecting the data from various sources such as the comic Doraemon and Detective Conan, the novel 1Q84, Toshoukan no Sensou, Heisei Dai Kazoku, the Weblio, the Asahi Shinbun and the article Yomiuri Digital. In addition to that, to classify and to analyze the data, the writer constructs descriptive technique. At last,the last step is to report the analysis result. Based on the analysis, the chotto adverb has 10 meanings, and from its structure, chotto adverb can be modified into adjectives, verbs and nouns.
