Abstract
Background : Urinary tract stones are quite big health problems, was third after the Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) and Urinary Tract Infections.The incidence of urinary tract stones can be caused by various factors such as high consumption of calcium and oxalate, lack of fluid intake, urinary tract infection or due to inadequate drainage of urine as BPH. Aim : To identify the incidence of urinary tract stones in patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) in the period of January 2013 - December 2015 at the Hospital of Dr. Kariadi Semarang. Methodes : This research is a descriptive study using secondary data. Sampling is done by total sampling method, using criteria of the study time period January 2013 - December 2015. Results : From the results of the 255 patient samples Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) there are 25 samples, who experienced urinary tract stones. The most frequent incidence of urinary tract stones in patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) at the age of 65-69 years of 15 samples (60%), with complaints most difficult urination of 18 samples (72%), and the highest frequency of occurrence in group work occurs in self-employed workers by 22 samples (88%). Conclusion : From the results, it can be concluded that the incidence of urinary tract stones can still be found in a minority of patients with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH).
