Department of Japanese Studies Faculty of Humanities. Diponegoro University. The Advisor Nur Hastuti, S.S., M.Hum.o Song lyric is a literature work that ret’presents the poet’s idea/ thought/ feeling. The investigated issues. The investigated issues in this research are the meaning of metaphor symbols based on the language code on Fujita Maiko’s Song Lyrics in Love StoryBest: Hiiro No Kakera　｢緋色の欠片｣ album and how the sadness that was felt by Fujita Maiko towards the song lyrics that was created in the album. Providing data method with Library Research was used in this research. In the other hand, semiotic method (signifier and signified) was used to analyze the data. The song lyrics that were sang by Fujita Maiko as data for this research were taken from the internet were taken from Love Story Best: Hiiro No Kakera album. The result of the research showed that 9 private symbol metaphor, 8 blank symbol metaphor, 6 air phenomena natural symbol metaphor, 2 plant’s life phenomena natural symbol metaphor, and 1 animal’s life phenomena natural symbol metaphor.
