Abstract
Modifikasi alat uji test bed pompa sentrifugal ini dimaksudkan untuk menyempurnakan test bed pompa sentrifugal yang telah dimiliki PSD III Teknik Mesin FT UNDIP, yaitu dengan mengganti tangki isap dan sistem instalasinya. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara mengatur bukaan katup dan mengatur putaran impeler dengan melalui pengaturan frequensi untuk mendapatkan data-data yang dibutuhkan dalam menghitung head sistem, head total, daya hidrolis, daya input motor dan efisiensi, serta NPSH pada pompa. Dari hasil pengujian test bed pompa menggunakan fluida air pada tekanan tangki 1 = 1 bar dan tekanan tangki 2 = 1,15 kgf/ dengan variasi bukaan katup diperoleh data sebagai berikut : tekanan isap 0,9 bar dengan debit maksimal 30 LPM, head sistem 2,584 m, head total 20,171 m, efisiensi 43,25% dan NPSH 9,427 m. Pada variasi putaran impeler diperoleh data sebagai berikut : tekanan isap 0,9 bar dengan debit maksimal 28,75 LPM, head sistem 2,519 m, head total 21,17 m, efisiensi 47,13% dan NPSH 9,454 m. Modifications of centrifugal pump test bed is intended to complete the centrifugal pump test bed which has been owned PSD III Teknik Mesin FT UNDIP, that has changed vacuum tank and installation system. Testing is done by adjusting the valve and adjusting the impeller rotation with frequencies adjustment to obtain data required in the calculate for system head, total head, pump hydraulic power, pump motor input power, efficiency and NPSH. From the test results of test bed at the pressure tank 1 = 1 bar and the pressure tank 2 = 1,15 kgf/cm2 with adjusting of the valve is obtained the following data: suction pressure 0,9 bar with maximum flow rate 30 LPM, system head 2,584 m, total head 20,171 m, efficiency of 43,25% and NPSH 9,427 m. In adjusting of impeller rotation is obtained the following data: suction pressure 0,9 bar with maximum flow rate 28,75 LPM, system head 2,519 m, total head 21,17 m, efficiency of 47,13% and NPSH 9,454 m.
