ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN ISTRI NELAYAN DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGA (Studi Empiris : Kecamatan Pekalongan Utara, Kota Pekalongan)

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect revenue fisherman's wife and how to formulate a strategy for empowerment fisherman's wife in the District of North Pekalongan. This study uses a method mix that with descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Namely quantitative descriptive used by multiple linear regression, whereas qualitative descriptive analysis using the SWOT matrix. Selection of the samples in this study using a multiple-stage random sampling were determined based on the proportion and criteria are obtained as many as 100 respondents. Results indicate that simultaneously the variables outpouring of work, family responsibilities, age, education, occupation, nature of work, and work experience affect the income of fisherman's wife in the District of North Pekalongan and in partial outpouring of work, type of work and the nature of work significantly influence revenue fisherman's wife in the District of North Pekalongan. The most dominant variable influence on the fisherman's wife revenue Job Type. Meanwhile, the strategy can be used to empower the fisherman's wife in the District of North Pekalongan namely by using Strength-Opportunities policies by leveraging existing strengths to achieve opportunities as possible.
