Abstract
Air Conditioning merupakan suatu peralatan yang digunakan untuk mengkondisikan udara sehingga dapat mencapai temperatur dan kelembaban yang sesuai dengan kondisi udara nyaman berdasarkan peraturan K3. Sehingga memberikan kenyamanan kerja bagi orang yang melakukan kegiatan tertentu didalam ruangan tersebut. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perhitungan beban pendinginan ruangan. Beban pendinginan direncanakan mengacu pada beberapa faktor, yaitu faktor kalor sensibel dan faktor kalor laten. Sistem pengkondisian udara yang direncanakan berupa unit Air Conditioning Split. Untuk mendapatkan udara dengan kondisi yang diinginkan, maka peralatan yang dipasang harus mempunyai kapasitas sesuai dengan beban pendinginan yang ada dalam ruangan. Untuk itu diperlukan survey dan perhitungan untuk menentukan beban pendinginan. Berdasarkan perhitungan daya dengan desain suhu 24oC dan Kelembaban (RH) 50% didapatkan beban pendinginan sebesar 10.844,19 Btu/hr. Sehingga pada ruang dosen dan teknisi dibutuhkan 1 unit Air Conditioning dengan kapasitas pendinginan 12.000 Btu/hr. Dari hasil pengujian diketahui beban daya refrigeran yang semakin menurun ketika mendekati suhu dan kelembaban yang ditentukan. Kata Kunci = Air Conditioner, Beban Pendingin, Suhu, Kelembaban Air Conditioning is an equipment used to condition the air so as to achieve the temperature and humidity in accordance with the comfortable air condition under the rules K3. Working to provide comfort for people doing certain activities inside the room. In this final project room cooling load calculation. Cooling loads are planned based on several factors, namely sensible heat and latent heat factor. The HVAC system is planned in the form of units of Air Conditioning Split. To get the air to the desired conditions, the equipment installed must have the capacity in accordance with the cooling load in the room. It required surveys and calculations to determine the cooling load. Based on design power calculation 24°C temperature and humidity (RH) 50% obtained the cooling load of 10.844,19 Btu / hr. So that in the dosen and technicians room use a unit Air Conditioning with a 12,000 Btu / hr cooling capacity.
