Diponegoro University. The First advisor S.I Trahutami, M.Hum, The Second Advisor Elizabeth Ika Hesti, ANR, SS, M.Hum. This research intends to determine the meaning and translation of setsuzokushi soshite and sorekara in Indonesian. Setsuzokushi are the name of conjunction in Japanese. Soshite and sorekara are part of the branch of setsuzokushi, in many Japanese-Indonesian dictionary soshite and sorekara has similar mean, but actually in Indonesian soshite and sorekara has an other meanings and translation. Setsuzokushi soshite and sorekara is conjuction that indicate relationship between sentences or clausa. Soshite and sorekara has similar function, it is to indicate adding between sentence or clausa. Setsuzokushi soshite have mean to indicate causal adding relationship could be translate in Indonesian, namely; “dan;sehingga”. Soshite have mean to indicate equal adding relationship could be translate in indonesian, namely; “dan”. Soshite have mean to indicate reinforcement adding relationship could be translate in indonesian namely; “dan juga”. Soshite have mean to indicate continues actions or object could be translate in Indonesian, namely “lalu;kemudian”. Setsuzokushi sorekara have mean to indicate temporally continues action or object could be translate in Indonesian, namely “lalu;kemudian;setelah itu”.
