GAMBARAN TINGKAT KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL PADA LANSIA DI KELURAHAN PUDAK PAYUNG

Abstract

Elderly is a person aged 60 years and older. Results of a preliminary study to the elderly in Pudak Payung village describe that five elderly have moderate level of spiritual intelligence with a score 54 and three other elderly respectively have value level of spiritual intelligence with score of 38, 51, and 55.This study aims to describe the level of spiritual intelligence of elderly in the village of Pudak Payung Banyumanik Semarang. This research is a descriptive study with survey approach. Sample in this study were 247 elderly respondents in the village of Pudak Payung. Data retrieved by using demographic questionnaire and The Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventoiry (SISRI) questionnaire. The research was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed 158 respondents (64.0%) had a moderate level of spiritual intelligence. The conclusion of this study is 158 of elderly people in the village of Pudak Payung has a level of moderate spiritual intelligence. The elderly is expected to increase their spiritual needs, such as the worship of God and to do good to the people around. Keywords : Elderly, Spiritual intelligence
