Abstract

The main objective of the development of the region is to improve the welfare of the people of the region. There are various sectors that need to be developed to meet the goal of regional development is through the development of physical infrastructure in order to increase economic growth in the developing regions. To achieve these objectives should be structured plan right, useful and well-directed. An area will always evolve and grow dynamically both physical appearance and non fisiknnya. Changes in physical additions can be seen from the aspect of the city morphology that is characteristic of the use of land, buildings and circulation. While the non-physical changes include economic, social, cultural, political, technological and so on. Change can only happen from that used to have turned into a rural characteristics have urban characteristics, which was once a small town is now a big city, all of which was due to the dynamics of development activities and population growth in the region. So also is the case in the corridor Ambawang growing along with the growth of the surrounding area Ambawang as new commercial areas as the impact of urban development in the area of KubuRaya. Sprawling urban phenomenon with agricultural land conversion will certainly have a negative impact on the environment and threaten the sustainability of agricultural production (food). While a growing number of people who automatically also increase the need for food in the end will lead to increasingly severe food crisis or reliance on regions / countries (food imports), and would threaten the various aspects of sustainable development (sustainable development) and global warming (global warming) which is one of the issues (problems) universal facing all societies and countries in the world in the last decade. The purpose of this study was to examine the physical aspects of spatial and non-physical physical aspects associated with the development of the Corridor Ambawang is the case today. This is to avoid irregular urban development and land use changes cause uncontrolled. It should also be analyzed aspects of the city controller so that the development of this region is maintained and in accordance with the plan of the city that have been made. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with AHP analysis is the method of me-rating issues to formulate policy and the best model for the development of future Ambawang Corridor region. AHP will determine the order of priority based on community preferences and the preferences of the experts.
