ANALISIS SEKTOR UNGGULAN DI KOTA TANGERANG SELATAN

Abstract

The aims in this study is to know Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth during period 2010 to 2014 and also analyzed economy sectors that has competitive advantage and specialization during period 2010 to 2014 in South Tangerang City. The data used is the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) South Tangerang City and Banten Province during period 2010 to 2014 obtained from BPS-Statistic Indonesia. Analysis tool that is used on this research is Shift Share analysis which is refined with Shift Share Esteban Marquillas, and used to know the leading sector in South Tangerang City. From 17 sectors have been researched, only 3 sector that have no competitive advantage and also not specialized in South Tangerang City, they are 1) agriculture, forestry, and fisherie, 2) financial service and insurance, 3) administrative governance, defense, and social security. The featured sector that have competitive advantage and also specialized in South Tangerang City is 1) construction sector, 2) wholesale and retail; repair of cars and motorcycles, 3) provisionof of accommodation, 4) information and communication, 5) real estate, and 6) service companies.
