Abstract

Latar Belakang Anemia dalam kehamilan adalah kondisi ibu hamil dengan kadar hemoglobin kurang dari 10,5 gr/dl dan kadar ferritin kurang dari 10 ng/ml. Pencegahan anemia selama kehamilan dilakukan dengan pemberian tablet Fe selama 90 hari dengan dosis 60 mg. Ibu hamil selain mengkonsumsi tablet besi, perlu didukung dengan pola nutrisi yang diperlukan dalam sintesis hemoglobin. Jambu biji (psidium guajava) merupakan bahan makanan yang mengandung beberapa senyawa antara yang diperlukan dalam sintesis hemoglobin seperti zat besi dan vitamin C. Tujuan Penelitian Membuktikan pengaruh pemberian jus jambu biji terhadap perubahan kadar hemoglobin dan kadar ferritin ibu hamil yang mendapat suplementasi tablet Fe. Metode Penelitian Penelitian quasy experiment dengan rancangan non randomized pretest and posttest with control group design. Pengukuran hemoglobin menggunakan alat mutiple quick check dan pengukuran kadar ferritin menggunakan enzyme immunoassay. Hasil Penelitian Penelitian dilakukan pada 26 responden terdiri dari kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan selama 16 hari. Rata-rata perubahan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil kelompok kontrol sebesar 0.25 gr/dl dan pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 1.30 gr/dl. Rata-rata perubahan kadar ferritin pada ibu hamil kelompok kontrol sebesar 6.9 ng/ml dan pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 23.76 ng/ml. Hasil uji t-test independent didapatkan ada pengaruh konsumsi jambu biji dan tablet Fe terhadap perubahan kadar hemoglobin dengan p value 0.015. Hasil uji t-test independent didapatkan ada pengaruh konsumsi jambu biji dan tablet Fe terhadap perubahan kadar ferritin dengan p value 0.041. Kesimpulan Pemberian jus jambu biji secara signifikan mempengaruhi perubahan kadar Hemoglobin dan kadar Ferritin. Saran Menganjurkan kepada ibu hamil untuk mengkonsumsi tablet Fe dengan jambu biji.
