Abstract
Demineralized water is a process for the removal of mineral salts present in water, so the water produced has a high purity. Basically the process is like what is done in water softening through ion exchange process One of the chemical parameters in water quality requirements is the number of Fe2+ element content in water . To determine the amount of Fe2+ can be done by using spectrophotometry . Spectrophotometry is an analysis method based on measuring the absorption of monochromatic light by a strip of colored solutions at specific wavelengths with mengguankan prism or diffraction grating monochromator with a detector Fototube . Keywords: Demineralized water, element content of Fe2+, spectrophotometry
