PEMANFAATAN MINYAK KEDELAI SEBAGAI BAHAN BAKU PEMBUATAN LILIN AROMA TERAPI MENGGUNAKAN PRESS BERULIR DENGAN OPTIMALISASI SUHU (THE USE OF SOYBEAN OIL AS RAW MATERIAL FOR MAKING AROMATHERAPY CANDLES BY USING SCREW PRESS WITH TEMPERATURE OPTIMIZATION )

Abstract

Vegetable oils are made from plants oil that used in food products and cooking.one of the vegetable oils are often used both as food and non-food is soybean oil. This research used methods of mechanical pressing that is screw press to take soybean oil from soybeans, soybean oils is taken from soy beans by using temperature variables with vurnerable between 60° to 80°C with the difference 5°C for each variables. Then do the physical and chemical properties test to the soybean oils for each variable to get an optimal result. The optimal result of soybean oils product then used as a raw material for making aromatherapy candles. Keywords : Soybean Oils, Screw Press, Aromatherapy Candles
