Abstract
Introduction: Sore is a common gripe and frightening experience for patients post odontektomi so patients required of proper and good treatment. Sodium Diclofenak Analgesic drug not always achieved the maximum results. compared with other types of (etoricoxib) drugs that can achieve maximum results with appropriate and well. Objective: to determine the influence of the analgetik etoricoxib drug with sodium diclofenak against sore post odontektomi . Methods: this research was a quasi-experimental research with "random post test only controlled group design" with the double blind technique. Samples divided in to two groups where each group numbered 16, namely the treatment group receive analgesic etoricoxib drug 90 mg and control groups receive analgesic drugs 120 mg sodium diclofenak. Sore was measured by the VDS. Statistical test using unpaired t. Results: the average score of the VDS on the fifth day for group etoricoxib treatment median 1 and for in the group control sodium diclofenak median 4 value of p = <0,001 because the value of p < 0.05 then authors conclude a meaningful or significant differences. Gender, age, education, and experience the exctraction has no effect on score VDS or not a confounding variable (p > 0.05). Conclusion: there is a difference between meaningful or significant score VDS odontektomi's post on sore treatment etoricoxib 90 mg Group with a group control 120 mg sodium diclofenak. Gender, age, education, and experience ektraksi has no effect on VDS score. Keywords: Etoricoxib, sodium diclofenak, VDS score
