Abstract

Papaya leaves contain many of chlorophyll. Because Chlorophyll contains antioxidants, anti inflammatory, so chlorophyll has some health benefits for body. On this practical using Sectrophotometer Genesys 20 Visible is based phenomenon Posted ray absorption Certain chemical species in the area is light appears (visible light). There are two kind of papaya leaves there are old and young papaya leaves. The solution papaya plus acetone by comparison is 1: 1, 1: 1.25, 1: 1.5 and 1: 1.75. The result based on observations conducted the amount of chlorophyll that paled Cleaner that old papaya leaves on the comparison solvent Volume 1: 1.75 at a wavelength of 663 nm at 24 027 mg / L, while at Wavelength 645 nm amounted to 11 971 mg / L.
