Abstract
ABSTRACT Putryani, Helen Pasaribu. “Analysis Meaningof Adverb TabiTabi, ShibaShiba and Yoku”.Thesis Department of Japanese Studies Faculty of Humanities.Diponegoro University.The First Advisor Dra. Sri PujiAstuti, M.Pd. and Second Advisor RenyWiyatasari, S.S, M.Hum. This study examines the meaning and the using of the adverbial TabiTabi, ShibaShiba and Yoku. This study also determines whether the third adverbial can be substituted for each other or not. After this study were analyzed, adverbial TabiTabi, ShibaShiba and Yokuhave the same meaning, which is a repeat of an event or condition (often).The third adverbial above has different frequency levels. Adverbial of Tabitabi has higher frequency levels than adverbial of ShibaShiba but adverbial of Tabitabi is lower than adverbial of Yoku.Adverbial of ShibaShibais the lowest levels of frequency and adverbial of Yokuis the highest frequency levels. The adverbial of Tabitabi and Yoku can be used in spoken language and written language, but adverbial ofShibaShibaisonly used in written language. Therefore, after the third adverbial abovearesubstituted almost all can be substituted for each other because they have the same meaning but there are levels of different frequency.
