Abstract

One way to increase the income of an area is through the potential in the tourism sector. Precisely in Magelang are the Borobudur temple which is one of the tourist places whose names are known to the world and enter into one of the world heritage site that has been designated by UNESCO in 2006.Not only is the Borobudur temple, but there are still plenty of local tourism potential contained in this town, which is also supported by the natural potential expanse of mountains and hills that surround this area. The existence of Borobudur can be referred to as the primary magnet in attracting tourists both domestic and foreign countries so that every year almost always an increase in the number of tourists both domestic and foreign. However, it is not offset by the addition of services such as lodging facilities that can accommodate, even when there are hotel facilities, but the form of resort lodging services have not been sufficiently able to accommodate the number of tourists who visit the Borobudur temple. One way is by adding lodging facilities such as resort hotel with the concept of "organic architecture", which elections location adapted to existing zoning regulations. The concept of "organic architecture" is an architectural concept where the building does not stand alone, but the building is part of a nature in which the application can be taken from formations - natural formations that are in the vicinity of the location or area that would give the impression of comfort and peace.
