Abstract

More people are using the Railways, the infrastructure needs to be increased in order to accommodate the increasing number of people in the Train Station. Some planning about Merak stations are: Government Regulation No. 43 in 2011, about the railway network plan at Java in 2030 that increased capacity rail network through the construction of double track and electrification, masterplan railways Daop 1 will be constructed of a shortcut jakarta - Serang, and the Regulation of 2011 the province of Banten paragraph 21 that improve the capacity and quality of the rail infrastructure network; developing rail transport services and business executives who serve urban transport; improve service facilities and infrastructure; and develop an integrated railway station. The change were made with a major refurbishment at the station - the station that no longer meet the eligibility requirements so that the station has a good quality and quantity. To attract more railway users, facilities and services on the upgrade from booking tickets, boarding pass application of the system, putting a number of special train police (Polsuska), and to control the hawkers at station area. Assets utilization also undertaken to maximize service for consumers.
