Abstract

Pada pengoperasiannya, PLTU batu bara memerlukan supply udara untuk proses pembakaran. Salah satu suplai udara pada PLTU batubara adalah suplai udara sekunder. Udara sekunder yang di suplai oleh forced draft fan digunakan sebagai kebutuhan udara pembakaran di dalam boiler. Forced draft fan yang dioperasikan selama waktu tertentu berdampak pada penurunan unjuk kerja atau efisiensi. Pada tugas akhir kali ini akan dilakukan analisa efisiensi forced draft fan B unit #10 PT PJB UBJ O&M PLTU Rembang pada beban 300 MW. Perhitungan efisiensi forced draft fan menggunakan metode in-out yaitu metode yang membandingkan daya output dengan daya input. Perhitungan ini dilakukan pada rentang tanggal 27 Maret 2015 sampai tanggal 6 April 2015. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh efisiensi forced draft fan terendah sebesar 73,64 % dan tertinggi sebesar 75,82 %. Fluktuasi yang terjadi masih dalam rentang efisien karena keadaan alat masih dalam keadaan baik. Kata kunci : Supply udara sekunder, forced draft fan, efisiensi Operational of coal fired power plant needs air supply for combustion process. One of air supply in coal fired power plant is secondary air supply. Secondary air which supply by forced draft fan is use to requirment principal combution process. Purpose of this final project to analysis of efficiency forced draft fan B Unit #10 PT PJB UBJ O&M Indonesia Rembang Coal Fired Power Plant on 300 MW load. Calculation of efficiency forced draft fan use in-out metode that is metode collating power output with power input. Calculation take on March 27th 2015 until April 6th 2015. Based on calculation acquired efficiency forced draft fan lower 73,64 % and higher 75,82 %. The fluctuation is on efficient a distance because the instrumens still in fine condition.
