Abstract

Abstract Minister of health has provided rules to hospitals in Indonesia who want to get accreditation must have systems, one of them is career development system of nursing. Career development hopes improve motivation and satisfaction of nurse to work. Usually a nurse in hospital not tobe career, but just to work. Therefoere the aim of this research is looking for correlation perception of career development with motivation of work and job satisfaction of nurse in Semarang Tugurejo Hospital. Because previous research has found, 41,4%, less motivated; and have been found 41,7% are not satisfied. Therefore need further reasearh related percepstion of nurse about career development. The research mothod that applied cross sectional study, and using desciptive corellation. Sampel that have been used as 68 nurse who have in criteria, and using questionnaire instrumen. Perception of career development as independent variable, motivation of work and job satisfaction as dependen variable. The analysis has been used Person product moment correlation for perseption of career development and motivation of work; and spearman correlation for perseption of career development and job satisfaction. The result shows good perseption of career development is 58,8%, persepstion less is 41,2%; nice motivation of work is 63,2%, and motivation of work less is 36,8%; nurse are satisfied 51,5%, and nurse are not satisfied 48,5%. There are corellation between perception of career development with motivation of work (p=<0,001), and there are corellation perception of career development with work satisfaction (p=0,01). The hospital able to increase career delopment system, especially part of system, that is development, recognition, promotion, and apreciation. Abstrak Menteri kesehatan memberikan aturan, bahwa rumah sakit di Indonesia yang ingin memperoleh akreditasi harus mempunyai berbagai macam sistem yang perlu disesuaikan, salah satunya yakni sistem jenjang karir perawat. Adanya sistem jenjang karir ini diharapkan dapat menambah motivasi dan kepuasan perawat dalam bekerja. Sebab pada penelitian sebelumnya ditemukan hampir sebagian besar, yakni 41,4%, perawat kurang termotivasi dan juga didapati sebesar 41,7% tidak puas dalam bekerja. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya penelitian lanjutan terkait persepsi persepsi perawat tentang jenjang karir. Metode yang digunakan studi cross sectional, dan rancangan penelitiannya deskriptif korelasi. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 68 perawat yang telah memenuhi kriteria, dan alat ukurnya menggunakan kuesioner. Persepsi jenjang karir sebagai variabel bebas, sedangkan motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel terikat. Analisis menggunakan korelasi person poduct moment untuk variabel persepsi jenjang karir dan motivasi kerja; dan spearman untuk variabel persepsi jenjang karir dan kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi jenjang karir perawat baik sebesar 58,8%, persepsi kurang sebesar 41,2%; motivasi kerja yang baik sebesar 63,2%, dan motivasi kerja yang kurang sebesar 36,8%; perawat yang puas sebesar 51,5%, dan perawat yang kurang puas sebesar 48,5%. Ada hubungan antara persepsi jenjang karir dengan motivasi perawat (p=<0,001), dan ada hubungan persepsi jenjang karir dengan kepuasan kerja perawat (p=0,01). Harapannya agar rumah sakit mampu untuk memaksimalkan sistem jenjang karir, terutama berkaitan dengan sub sistem didalamnya, yakni pengembangan, pengakuan, promosi dan penghargaan.
