Department of Japanese Literature Faculty of Humanities Semarang. Advisors Drs. M. Hermintoyo, M.Pd. and Zaki Ainul Fadli, S.S., M.Hum. Drama is a literary work that depicts human life with motion. In the drama, the audience can find social conflicts that occur in the community. Drama Koukousei Restaurant is a drama in which there are object of study of psychology literature, because in the story there is a difference in the character of the characters that can cause various conflicts. In addition, the mandate contained in each of the problems faced by the characters in this drama is also interesting to study. The purpose of this study was to describe the various conflicts in the drama Koukousei Restaurant which is the builder of stories and know the message that can be retrieved from the conflicts contained in the drama. The method used in data collection is literature review by watching the drama, finding conflicts, and then classify them into data that is needed and conclude the mandate of such data. The theoretical basis that is used the theory of structural, drama, conflict, and psychology literature. Psychological theory of literature using the theory of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud, that are Id, Ego, and Superego and conflict defense. Conflict in drama Koukousei Restaurant there are two kinds, namely: 1. The inner conflict; 2. Interpersonal Conflict. Of inner conflict is found the psychological aspects of Id, Ego, and Superego where Ego aspect of the characters was found to be stronger than the other aspects. The inner conflict in the form of rationalization of defense raised by prominent characters Yonemoto and sublimation by Kishino. Psychological aspects of interpersonal conflicts are Id and Ego and conflict defense in the form of direct aggression, apathy, and projections by the characters. Mandate that concluded in the form of an indirect form of delivery is taken from the conflicts that occur, such as: believe in doing something, fostering good cooperation between teams, and have confidence in yourself.
