Abstract
Test bed system kompresor torak satu tingkat ini merupakan suatu mesin yang berfungsi untuk menaikkan tekanan fluida gas ( udara ). Modifikasi dilakukan agar test bed memiliki kinerja yang lebih baik dari test bed sebelumnya. Modifikasi yang dilakukan antara lain yaitu mengganti sambungan pipa udara antar komponen menjadi lebih kuat dari sebelumnya, mengganti termometer sebelumnya dengan yang baru agar hasilnya lebih akurat, merubah letak rangka kontrol panel agar pemasangan instalasi komponen tepat dan menghasilkan kinerja yang maksimal. Kemudian melakukan pengujian komponen supaya pada saat test bed dijalankan dapat memperoleh hasil yang baik dan maksimal. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengujian test bed kompresor torak satu tingkat yaitu daya adiabatik maksimal 0,255 HP, daya listrik maksimal yang terpakai sebesar 0,594 HP, temperature maksimal yang tercapai pada tekanan 6,2 bar sebesar 98 °C, efisiensi energi maksimal yang dihasilkan sebesar 30,9 %. Modifications done to test bed has a better performance than the previous test bed. Modifications were made, among others, to replace the air pipe connections between the components become more powerful than ever, replacing the previous with a new thermometer so that the result is more accurate, change the location of the control panel frame that the installation of appropriate components and produce maximum performance. Then perform component testing so that when the test bed run can obtain good results and maximum results. The results obtained from the testing of the reciprocating compressor test bed system single stage, the maximum power adiabatic 0,255 HP, The maximum electrical power used at 0.594 HP, The maximum temperature is reached at a pressure of 6.2 bar at 98 ° C, Maximum energy efficiency is generated by 30.9%.
