Abstract

Background The maternal mortality rate in the Central Java, Semarang in particular is still very high. As it is known high-risk pregnancy is the most important factor causing the high maternal mortality rate. High risk pregnancy can be caused by several factors such as maternal knowledge, society culturs, and the ineffectiveness of government programs. Aim Analysing description of high risk pregnant women in rowosari village, district Tembalang,Semarang City, Central Java. Method This research method is a field research carried out by cross sectional study that examined high-risk pregnant women and factors associated with high-risk pregnancies at the same time. This research type is descriptive research. Result research of high risk pregnant women in the village of Rowosari in terms of a general description, it is found 65.45% of high risk pregnant women. In terms of knowledge, it is found 60% less knowledge, 34.55% enough knowledge and 5.45% good knowledge. In terms of Cultural, it is found 95.54% of pregnancy women embrace negative cultures. In terms of government program, it is obtained 64.55% programs is not running well. Conclusion The high risk pregnant women in the village of rowosari are still very high that most women have less knowledge and embracing negative culture and government programs are not running well.
