Abstract
The diversity of natural resources owned by Indonesia is a basic capital in national development. Natural resource management is done in an organized manner will be able to support economic growth and improve people's welfare. Tourism in Indonesia has grown over time. Tourism development has been done by the government and private sector, claimed to have been able to increase the number of local and foreign tourist arrivals and local tourists often visit will be increasingly recognized by the public. Gunungkidul is one of the districts in Yogyakarta Province. Districts with a variety of potential natural attractions are being increased number of tourists in recent years. This is because of the many natural attractions that exist in Gunungkidul which has become a recreational alternative for tourists, especially those visiting the area of Regional Province of Yogyakarta. This study aims to identify the active community participation in resource management by communities and other interested parties are placed in a position to have, manage, plan and decided to maintain the area attractions Goa Pindul with co-management approach and policy priorities that need to be done in the development of tourism Goa Pindul using analytical hierarcy process approaches. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study used a descriptive statistical analysis to describe the profile of the respondents in the study area, and a co-management approach, method of analysis hierarchy process (ahp) through focus group discussion (fgd) to see on empowerment as well as done having interviews with key persons who are competent to the development of tourism Goa Pindul. The study states that the management of attractions of Goa Pindul use patterns in terms of partnerships, communities and managers to work together in managing through some Pokdarwis. Tourism managers have a dominant role in the planning, implementation and control in the management Pindul attractions of Goa. Criteria are prioritized in the development of tourism is the need for good management system with a value of 0179 and a signpost to the value of 0133.
