ANALISIS PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK DEMOGRAFI DAN KETERSEDIAAN FASILITAS PELAYANAN KB TERHADAP PEMILIHAN JENIS ALAT KONTRASEPSI PADA AKSEPTOR KB DI DESA TLOBONG KECAMATAN DELANGGU KABUPATEN KLATEN TAHUN 2005 ANALYZE THE IMPACT OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS AND THE AVAILABILITY OF FAMILY PLANNING SERVICE ON THE CHOICE OF CONTRACEPTION METHOD AMONG FAMILY PLANNING ACCEPTOR AT TLOBONG VILLAGE DELANGGU SUBDISTRICT KLATEN REGENCY 2005

Abstract

Penggunaan alat kontrasepsi oleh PUS (Pasangan Usia Subur) sangat penting terutama oleh PUS yang sudah mempunyai anak lebih dari dua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik demografi dan ketersediaan fasilitas pelayanan KB terhadap pemilihan jenis alat kontrasepsi pada akseptor KB di Desa Tlobong tahun 2005. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory survey dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua akseptor KB pria dan wanita yang pada saat penelitian telah menggunakan salah satu atau lebih metode kontrasepsi tanpa diselingi kehamilan dengan waktu minimal lima tahun di Desa Tlobong Kecamatan Delanggu Kabupaten Klaten. Penentuan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan rumus estimasi proporsi dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 68 orang dengan pengambilan sampel secara random proporsional. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Wald. Hasil uji statistik dengan uji Wald diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa jumlah anak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pemilihan jenis alat kontrasepsi (pvalue=0,024), variabel lain yang ikut berpengaruh adalah pendidikan (pvalue=0,013), pekerjaan (pvalue=0,019), ketersediaan fasilitas pelayanan statis (pvalue=0,019), pelayanan mobile (pvalue=0,024), pelayanan oleh masyarakat (pvalue=0,028) dan pelayanan KB (pvalue=0,009). Sedangkan variabel umur (pvalue=0,729) dan pendapatan keluarga (pvalue=0,796) tidak ada pengaruh terhadap pemilihan jenis alat kontrasepsi. The use of a contraception method by Fertile Couples after having 2 children is very important. This research aimed to analyze the impact of the demographic characteristics and the availability of family planning service on the choice of contraception method among family planning acceptor at Tlobong Village in the year of 2005. An explanatory research using cross sectional study was conducted. Survey method was utilized to gather data. The population of the study was all family planning acceptors males and females without any pregnancy for about 5 years at Tlobong Village, Delanggu Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. A number 68 samples was randomly selected. Result of Wald test were the number of children was significantly had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,024); education had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,013);occupation had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,019). The availability of family planning service in static condition had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,019). The availability of mobile family planning service had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,024), the service of the community had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,028) and family planning service had an impact on the choice of contraception method (pvalue=0,009). While age (pvalue=0,729) and family income (pvalue=0,796) was not significantly had an impact on the choice of contraception method.
