SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PENENTUAN LOKASI PEMBANGUNAN SITE BASE TRANCEIVER STATION DENGAN METODE PROMETHEE

Abstract

In fulfilling the necessity of increasing cellular telecommunication users, cellular operator party increase the service by adding BTS (Base Transceiver Station) amount. The BTS addition planning is hoped to fulfill the need of effective and efficient customer service. The BTS is built to serve the users in a long period of time. One important thing in adding the BTS is deciding the construction location. To maximize aspects that influence in deciding location to get optimal result in serving cellular telecommunication. This research is decision support system in deciding the location of BTS construction location using method that is Preference Ranking Organization Method For Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE). The criteria that are decided in this research are: coverage area, signal quality, access, fee, and inhabitant. By this system, there will be ranking result that can help in taking decision of BTS construction location.
