Research on autism has often done but there are still some things that have not been explained about the handling autistic. Autistic is a term used to describe a pervasive developmental disorder in children, resulting in disturbances in cognitive, language, behavior, communication and social interaction Primary discussion on this research is building expert system to diagnose the type of autism and treatment by using Bayes's theorem. Stages of development of this system acquires knowledge from an expert who specializes in the treatment of autism is inserted into a computer so that the system can resolve the problem and give the same solution as that of an expert, then build a knowledge base and give value to the Bayes theorem any symptoms related in range values of 0 and 1. by choosing symptoms - symptoms of disease perceived the system can diagnose the type of autism and autism treatment by displaying the type and value of the largest bayes theorem in descending order. The results of this research is a software expert system to determine which type of autism autism and responses by using the method of bayes theorem. The advantages of using the bayes theorem is easy to understand, requires only a simple coding, faster in the calculation. Testing the validity of the accuracy of the system is done by retrieving the data from the Institute of Psychology about 20 patients who had done consulting and subsequent therapy compared with expert system has been made.
