Abstract
Penyegaran udara merupakan usaha untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan kesegaran kerja. Oleh karena itu, terutama di daerah yang mempunyai musim panas maka perlu dilakukan pengkondisian udara pada suatu ruangan untuk memberikan kenyaman. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis merencanakan perhitungan beban pendinginan pada ruang kuliah C2. Beban pandinginan yang akan direncanakan mengacu pada beberapa factor, yaitu factor kalor sensibel dan factor kalor laten. Pengkondisian udara yang digunakan berupa unit AC Split. Untuk mendapatkan udara dengan kondisi yang diinginkan, maka peralatan yang dipasang harus mempunyai kapasitas sesuai dengan beban pendinginan yang dimiliki ruangan. Untuk itu diperlukan survey dan perhitungan untuk menentukan beban pendinginan. Dengan desain suhu 26oC dan RH 50% didapatkan hasil perhitungan beban pendinginan (GTH) sebesar 82.181,6448 Btu/hr. Sehingga pada ruang kuliah C2 harus dipasang 4 – 5 unit AC dengan kapasitas pendinginan 18.200 Btu/hr. Air Refresher is an attempt to provide comfort and freshness of work. Therefore, especially in areas that have a summer should be conducted at a room air conditioning to provide comfort. In this thesis the author planned cooling load calculation on the lecture room C2. Cooling load that will be planned based on several factors, namely factor sensible heat and latent heat factor. Used in the form of air conditioning Split AC units. To get the air to the desired condition, then it must have the equipment installed in accordance with the cooling load capacity owned the room. It required surveys and calculations to determine the cooling load. By design temperature 26 ° C and RH 50% showed cooling load calculation (GTH) of 82181.6448 Btu / hr. So that the lecture room C2 must be installed 4-5 AC unit with a cooling capacity of 18,200 Btu / hr
