Abstract

Karimunjawa National Park is one of tourism object in Central Java-based preservation / conservation. Natural conditions are very beautiful with amazing coral reefs become its own attraction for the tourists to come visit. But along with the increasing human activities in Karimunjawa National Park Karimunjawa National Park environmental quality has declined. This can be seen from the condition of the beach there are a lot of garbage. Karimjawa National Park currently require very large cost in the conservation Natural Resources and Ecosystems. Karimunjawa National Park has a very small reception so burdening the country for the cost of conservation, it is appropriate that the National Park visitor karimunjawa contribute to pay in Karimunjawa National Park conservation efforts in order not to burden the country. This study aims to determine the amount of willingness to pay (Willingness to Pay) by the method of Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). The research was conducted indepth interview to 128 visitors in Karimunjawa National Park with payment card method . The advantage of this method provide a stimulus that can help respondents to think more clearly about the payment of the maximum WTP. Characteristics of respondents indicated that the majority of visitors are women, aged 25-31 years. Perception of visitors to the National Park Karimunjawa that mostly visitors concerned to sustainability Karimunjawa National Park and are willing to pay in the conservation effort.Contingent Valuation Method Results showed that willingness to pay / Willingness to Pay visitors Karimunjawa National Park has an average of Rp Rp 135.390,00 and with a total value of Willingness to Pay Rp 215.890.000,00. The average value and the total WTP can be used as a reference in determining the retribution which can then be used as a fund to implement environmental conservation Karimunjawa National Park.
