Abstract
One of the social instance is orphanage which the main task is caring, growing and be the sanctuary for all children that lack, even didn’t get any care and love they deserved from their own parents because of many reason. These children is being given education both physical, knowledge, also character and mental building so in the future they could be social creature that can adapt, involved or even useful among social neighborhood life. However there are still troubles in the orphanage both physical aspect of the orphanage itself or human resource within it, either the caretaker or the children in the orphanage The main purpose of this research is to see how far intrinsic motivation determines the performance of a person and also to see how the person experience through his / her life from childhood until now could affect that motivation, thus affecting that performances. The object of this research is PAK Tanah Putih in Semarang, Central Java. Among all its staffs, those that takes part in workplace itself ( human resource ) is chosen. Among those 10 staffs that in workplace, with data reduction and snowball sampling technique , these 10 research subjects has been reduced only to 5 person to be participant ( respondent ) of this research This research uses unstructured interview combined with member check technique to measure and test if all information which are gathered through interview before already matched with respondents answer within interview and also matched with this research subject and topic that is intrinsic motivation. The results later on will be reduced by putting out any info that doesn’t match with our research subject and then will be analyzed descriptively
