Abstract

The perception in psychological factors that have an important role in influencing the behavior of a person. The safety management system and the occupational health concern which is very important nowadays, as it hopes to be of significance that can be generated in order to lower the high number of accidents. The purpose of this research is to know the perception of labor safety and health management systems work and the application of guidelines in PT. BARATA INDONESIA (Persero) Unit Usaha Mandiri Tegal. This study uses qualitative methods, where the collection of data is done with the interview. As the project of the research is related to the research and have a work experience of more than 10 years and worked at PT. BARATA INDONESIA (Persero) Unit Usaha Mandiri Tegal. The result obtained from this study revealed there are five elements of the implementation of the guidelines on occupational safety and health management system of work at PT. BARATA INDONESIA (Persero) Unit Usaha Mandiri Tegal namely Implementation of policy of safety and occupational health, Safety and health work planning, Implementation of the occupational health and safety plans, Monitoring and evaluation of the safety and health performance of the work, Review and improvement of safety and health performance of the work, already reflect that the guidelines the application of safety and health management system of work at PT. BARATA INDONESIA (Persero) Unit Usaha Mandiri Tegal has been in accordance with the desired, expected and needed by employees
