Abstract
Raw materials used in the lab are pineapple leaf is the raw material alternatives that can be used in the manufacture of pulp because it has a cellulose content is high enough. Pulp is the result of the separation of fibers from fibrous raw materials (wood and non-wood) through various manufacturing processes (mechanical, chemical). Based on practical work that has been done, the practitioner rather than the quality of the pick quantity. In the pulping experiments prefer the low ash content in experiment 1 is 13.34%. The most high ash content is on trial 2 is 18.50% on operating conditions T = 110 ° C, t = 120 min. Cellulose pulping experiments levels were highest in experiment 2 is 70.34%. Cellulose levels were lowest in experiment 1 is 65.67% on operating conditions T = 90 ° C, t = 90 min. Water content was highest in experiment 1 is 11.56% while the lowest water content at the trial to 2 ie 8.50%. The highest yield adadalah experiment 2 as much as 9.75 grams, while the least is the first experiment as much as 7.53 grams.
