Abstract
Dalam operasinya, pompa harus dapat memenuhi head yang diperlukan oleh sistem instalasinya. Apabila permukaan air berubah-ubah, head statis pompa harus ditentukan dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik pompa. Oleh karena itu, dibuatlah tugas akhir “Rancang Bangun Alat Uji Head Statis Pompa pada Tekanan 2.5 Bar”. Tujuan dari pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pompa dengan menghitung : head total pompa, head sistem (metode perhitungan dan pengukuran), dan efisiensi pompa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara pengaturan laju aliran pompa melalui pembukaan katup dan pengaturan frekuensi menggunakan Inverter. Hasil pengujian head statis pompa menggunakan fluida air pada tekanan dalam tangki 2.5 bar diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : head total pompa pada laju aliran tertinggi sebesar 26.70 m dan head total pompa pada laju aliran terendah sebesar 29.60 m. Sedangkan head sistem (metode perhitungan) pada laju aliran tertinggi sebesar 26.81 m dan pada laju aliran terendah sebesar 26.78 m serta head sistem (metode pengukuran) pada laju aliran tertinggi sebesar 26.61 m dan pada laju aliran terendah sebesar 26.59 m. Dari data tersebut, diperoleh titik kerja pompa pada tekanan 2.5 bar terletak pada laju aliran 7.36 LPM dan pada head 26.81 m. Kata kunci: pompa sentrifugal, head statis, karakteristik pompa, head sistem, head total pompa, laju aliran. In operation, the pump must be able to meet the head required by the system installation. When changing the water surface, the pump static head must be determined by considering the characteristics of the pump. Therefore, the final project was made "Design of Static Test Equipment Pump Head to Pressure 2.5 Bar". The purpose of this tool is to determine the characteristics of the pump by calculating: total pump head, system head (the method of calculation and measurement), and the efficiency of the pump. The method used is by way of setting the pump flow rate through the valve opening and frequency settings using the Inverter. Test results using a fluid pump static head of water at 2.5 bar pressure in the tank obtained the following results: total head of the pump at the highest flow rate of 26.70 m and a total head of the pump at the lowest flow rate of 29.60 m. While head system (calculation method) at a flow rate of 26.81 m and the highest at the lowest flow rate of 26.78 m and head system (method of measurement) at a flow rate of 26.61 m and the highest at the lowest flow rate of 26.59 m. From these data, obtained point to the pump working pressure 2.5 bar located at 7:36 LPM flow rate and the head 26.81 m.
