Abstract
Transformational leadership style and work motivation influence employee performance. The purpose of this research is to explain how the variable of transformational leadership style and work motivation influence to BAPPEDA Central Java employee performance. In addition to recognize which variable influences dominantly to the performance. The data of this research were obtained from distributing the quistionaire to 110 BAPPEDA Central Java employees . The data test technique in this research are instrument test ( realibility test , validity test ), clasical asumption test ( normality test , heteroskedesitas test , linearity test , multilinear regression analysis , T-test , F-test , Coefisient of determination test using SPSS aplication . The result shows that the transformational leadership style and work motivation influence positively and significantly to the employee performance, variables used in this research give positive response , meaning the transformational leadership style and work motivation improving the performance of BAPPEDA Central Java employee. Value of determination coefisien or R square is 0,582, which means staff performance is affected by transformational leadership style and work motivation is 58,2%.
