FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI ALIH FUNGSI LAHAN PERTANIAN DI DAERAH SEPANJANG IRIGASI BENDUNG COLO KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO

Abstract

Conversion of agricultural land is one of the phenomena of chaneg agricultural land into non – agriculture. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence farmer’s decisions to convert agricultural land into non agricultural land that accurred in the area along with the irrigation Bendung Colo , Nguter case study in the district, village Pengkol and village Gupit. This study uses aquantitaive approach using regression analysis to analyze factors that influence farmers’ decisions to convert agricultural land into non – agricultural land, as well as indepthinter view to determine the other factors affecting land conversion that occurred in the village Pengkol and village Gupit. The results obtained in this study, there are four things that affect the farmer’s decision to convert agricultural land into non-agricultural land. Namely : 1) Economic factors, 2) Social Factor, 3) Land Condition factor and 4)Goverment regulation. The result of the field to prove that the process of land converttion that occurs – each village has a different problem, namely in the village of Pengkol factors that encourage farmers to convert agricultural land is goverment regulation factor and condition of land namely the taxation of paddy land into industrial land. What happened in the village of Gupit factor that encourage farmers to convert land social factors and land condition. The social impact of land conversion can be seen frem the condition of the relationship/ interactiom between citizen, and condition surrounding people’s lifestyles. Not maximum output is produced ricce plants due to land conditions in the village Gupit have to many pests that attack rice plants
