Abstract
Sampel terpilih harus mampu menghasilkan nilai estimasi parameter populasi yang cukup reliabel untuk memenuhi tujuan penelitian. Pengukuran lingkup gerak sendi (LGS) merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dikuasai oleh seorang okupasi terapis guna membantu menegakkan diagnosa pada gangguan musculoskeletal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat ketepatan random sampling dalam estimasi parameter populasi pada penelitian survei tingkat keterampilan mahasiswa Jurusan Okupasi Terapi Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta dalam pengukuran LGS pada Bulan Mei Tahun 2006. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian komparatif, tingkat ketepatan random sampling diukur berdasarkan bias, pengambilan sampel memakai teknik random sampling dengan presisi mutlak (1,5) dan relatif (7,5%) sebanyak 30 kali, menggunakan data primer skor tingkat keterampilan pengukuran LGS menggunakan goniometer, dan jumlah populasi penelitian 180 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dan anova dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil survei menunjukkan hampir dua per tiga dari populasi penelitian (66,1%) 'terampil' dalam pengukuran LGS menggunakan goniometer. Uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,015<0,05, Ho ditolak berarti terdapat hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat keterampilan pengukuran LGS menggunakan goniometer. Analisis univariat menunjukkan tingkat ketepatan tinggi diperoleh dari sampel melalui teknik cluster random sampling dengan presisi mutlak dan teknik stratified random sampling dengan presisi relatif. Hasil analisis anova diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,102>0,05, Ho diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna tingkat ketepatan teknik random sampling dalam survei tingkat keterampilan pengukuran lingkup gerak sendi menggunakan goniometer pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Okupasi Terapi Politeknik Kesehatan Surakarta. Untuk memperoleh nilai estimasi parameter populasi dengan tingkat ketepatan yang tinggi dari sampel melalui teknik random sampling, perhatikan karakteristik populasi dan gunakan presisi seminimal mungkin. The chosen samples should be able to show estimated score as population parameter. Range of motion measurement is one of competencies that the occupational therapy students should master in enforcing diagnoses on musculoskeletal problems. This research was aimed at elaborating the precision random sampling in estimating population parameter on the survey research on the skill level of students of occupational therapy school Surakarta Health Polytechnic in conducting range of motion measurement in May 2006. This research was comparative study. Precision random sampling was measured by bias, sampling technique used was random sampling with absolute precision (1.5) and relative (7.5%) for 30 times sampling, the primary data was score of skill level range of motion measurement using goniometry, and total research population was 180 respondens. Data analysis implemented chi-square test and anova with 95% significancy. The result of this research showed that almost two third of the research population (66.1%) was categorized as'skillful' in conducting range of motion measurement using goniometry. Chi-square showed p-value = 0.015<0.05, Ho was refused, so that there was a relation between level of education and level of skill in measuring range of motion using goniometry. Univariat analysis showed high level of accuracy was achieved from samples by cluster random sampling with absolute precision and stratified random sampling with relative precision. From anova analysis, it was found that p-value = 0.102>0.05, Ho was accepted. It could be summarized that there was no significant differences between precison random sampling in research survey level of skill in measuring range of motion using goniometery conducted by occupational therapy students Surakarta Health Polytechnic. The researcher should notice population characteristics and apply minimum precison in order to get accurate estimated population parameter.
