Abstract
The Theft is one of crimes that are really worrying people, this kind of crime is commonly related with an economic problems, such as : productive ages, low rate of education, low income, and number of dependents family. Semarang as a capital city of Central Java is claimed to be the highest rate of crimes among cities in Central Java. And one of the most significant crime is theft. The purpose of this research is to analyze influence age, education, income and the number of dependents family on the crime of burglary in the City of Semarang ( case study: in lp classes 1 Kedungpane city semarang ). The object of the research is the prisoners affected by crimes and burglary in LP Class 1 Kedungpane Semarang. The types of data used in this research is primary data and secondary data The method of data analysis used in this research is multiple regression analysis with double – log model. The multiple regression analysis result from shows that from four independent variables, such as age, education, income and number of dependents family, only the age variable which is not signifcant. Education variable is significant and it had a negative impact, income variable have negative effects and significant, the number of dependents family have positive relations and significant, while age variable had a negative effect and does not significant
