Abstract

PPIP management in District of Banjarnegara, people get the authority to manage all activities independently and participatory involved in every stage of activities ranging from socialization, planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling activities. In addition, people get assistance from facilitators, support from the government and also the presence of a PPIP institutional management organizations in the village and sub-district level whose members come from the community and received training in favor of increasing the ability of people as the main actors PPIP and beneficiaries of development.One of them is the management of PPIP in Sub-district of Mandiraja as participatory development programs with community empowerment approach is intended to support the reduction of inequality and deterioration area socioeconomic conditions in the Sub-district of Mandiraja. This study purposed to determine the process of community empowerment in the Sub-district of Mandiraja. This is evidenced through the analysis of public perception, the role of stakeholders, the intensity of community participation, which in turn formulate a strategy for community empowerment in the management of PPIP to the next. Methods this study used quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. For the analysis of public perceptions before and after the PPIP and analysis of the role of stakeholders, assessment analysis was used ranging from 1 to 10. Intensity of community participation in the management of PPIP in Sub-district of Mandiraja used descriptive analysis. Snowballing sampling is applied to select 100 respondents 13 respondents villagers and key-person. This study found that the level of participation in the bulk of time, self, social, and moral high society. This study outlines a strategy to empower communities through increased productivity of the respondents as well as providing training to improve skills and management of PPIP
