ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI DALAM PEMILIHAN KARIR MENJADI AUDITOR PADA INSTANSI SWASTA DAN PEMERINTAH (Studi Empiris Pada Mahasiswa S1 Akuntansi Universitas Diponegoro)

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors which influence students in the choice of accounting career as auditor at both private and government institutions. Factors that influence the selection of the variables measured using financial award-presenting, professional training, social values, personality, work environment with family intervention as the variable control over the selection of career as a government auditor or auditors on private institutions on accounting student. The population of this research is a student of accounting Undergraduate University of Diponegoro in Semarang. The sample used in this study as many as 88 respondents. Samples taken from the University of Diponegoro in Semarang by using purposive sampling. This study uses multivariate logistic regression analysis with SPSS version 19. Results of the analysis indicate a variables such as financial awardpresenting, professional training, social values, the work environment influence significantly to selection of a career, but for personality variables from the results of the analysis showed there was no significant influence on the selection of a career as a government auditor or auditors on private institutions on accounting student
