Abstract

Productivity is a description of the capabilities of the worker in the resulting output. The higher the output produced by a worker, showed the higher levels of worker productivity. A small industry of tempe is the most abundant small industry absorbing labor force in the city of Semarang. However, many factors will affect the productivity of the workforce at the tempe industry. Therefore, to be analyzed in this research is the influence of the levels of education, wages, age, sex and work experience of small industrial labor productivity tempe in Semarang city. This research aims to analyze the effect of variable wages, education, age, sex and work experience of small industrial labor productivity tempe in Semarang city. In this research using primary data directly through interviews on 80 respondents small industrial labor tempe in Semarang city, with a list of questions has been prepared. To achieve the goal, in this study using the method of regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that the variable wage, age, sex and work experience a positive and significant impact on the productivity of industrial labor small tempe in Semarang city. While the education variables do not affect significantly the productivity of industrial labor tempe in Semarang city
