Abstract

Basically children under working age shall not be employed because it can disrupt the educational process, physical life, social as well as emotional and spiritual. Prohibition of employing children is solely intended to protect children from economic exploitation. Such provisions have been regulated in the Law number 13 of 2003 section 68 which contains the prohibition to employ children. However the policy is still not able to reduce the number of child workers in the field. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of family income, children's education, child's gender, education and the head of the family values the wages of children to the outpouring of child labor working time in Sleman. The analysis model used in this study is the method of linear regression analysis The results showed that the variables family income, children's education, and househead aducation has a negative and significant impact on child labor outpouring of work time, while the value of the wages the child has a positive and significant impact on child labor outpouring of work time
