ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA PERBANKAN BANK UMUM ASING DENGAN BANK UMUM PERSERO DI INDONESIA (Studi empiris pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bank Indonesia)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare about banking perfomance between foreign commercial banks and state-owned commercial banks in Indonesia. CAMEL ratio (Capital, Assets Quality, Managagement, Earnings, Liquidity) used as analysis tools. The population in this study consists of all listed firms of Indonesian Bank in year 2009-2012. Sampling method used is purposive sampling. A criterion of bank analysed foreign commercial banks and state-owned commercial banks in Indonesia. The samples consist of 14 banks which consisting of 10 foreign commercial banks and 4 state-owned commercial banks. Independent sample t-test used to be analysis technique. Result showed that overall ratio of otherwise healthy bank. In different trial which experienced a significant difference is in the CAR and BOPO. The empirical result of this study show that NPL, ROA, and LDR has significant influence to banking performance of foreign commercial banks and state-owned commercial banks in year 2009-2012. Whereas CAR and BOPO has no significant influence to banking performance of foreign commercial banks and state-owned commercial banks in year 2009-2012
