Abstract

ABSTRACT Pantura roadway is the main point of land transportation for connect west section to east section of java island. By situation activity of many of vehicle, can causing increased particulate matter 10 concentration, and people around the street can impacted PM10 from sources traffic activity. If particulate concentration is exeed from standardization can influence human health. Sample of particulate collected by instrument of dust sampler, next steps is analysis concentration characteristic of PM10. From analysis result is ascertainable traffic density is very strong related by PM10 concentration. Coefficient correlation grade is 0,880. Traffic density can affected by working day and off-day, so can influence of PM10 concentration. From research result when off-day at 17.00-19.00 o’clock PM10 concentration has increased as 17% from work day, and at 19.00-21.00 o’clock has increased as 10% from work day, and at 21.00-23.00 o’clock has increased as 6% from work day .
