Abstract
Latar belakang : Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) adalah salah satu tindakan sanitasi dengan membersihkan tangan dan jari-jemari menggunakan air dan sabun untuk menjadi bersih. Mencuci tangan dengan sabun merupakan salah satu upaya pencegahan penyakit. Di Kabupaten Brebes baru 50% SD yang memiliki fasilitas cuci tangan, dan 10% sekolah yang sudah menyediakan fasilitas sabun untuk mencuci tangan. Tujuan penelitian : Membuktikan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku CTPS pada anak SD Negeri Brebes 3. Metode Penelitian : Rancangan studi penelitian ini adalah Case Control Study, kelompok CTPS sebagai kasus terdiri dari 36 orang dan 36 non CTPS sebagai kontrol, jumlah sampel 72 orang. Analisis dengan menggunakan uji Regresi Logistik. Hasil penelitian : Variabel yang mempengaruhi perilaku CTPS adalah pola asuh orang tua (OR=6,8; 95%CI=1,7-26,7; nilai-p=0,006), pemahaman adanya peraturan sekolah (OR=6,7; 95%CI=1,9-23,7; nilai-p=0,003), pemahaman tentang ketersediaan media pendidikan/informasi di sekolah (OR=3,4; 95%CI=1,0-11,8; nilai-p=0,054), peran guru di sekolah (OR=3,5; 95%CI=1,0-11,4; nilai-p=0,041). Simpulan : perilaku CTPS anak sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh orang tua yang baik, pemahaman yang baik tentang ketersediaan media pendidikan/informasi di sekolah, peran guru yang baik di sekolah, dan pemahaman yang baik tentang adanya peraturan sekolah. Saran : Perlu peningkatan pendidikan kesehatan di sekolah tentang arti pentingnya perilaku CTPS. Kata kunci : Perilaku, Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun, Anak Sekolah Background : Handwashing (CTPS) is one of the sanitary activity with clean hands and fingers with soap and water to be cleaned. Washing hands with soap is one of disease prevention efforts. In Brebes city 50% of primary school have hand washing facilities, and 10% of schools are already providing facilities for hand washing soap. The purpose of this study : was to determine some factors that influence the behavior of CTPS in Brebes 3 elementary school children. Methods of research : Study design of this study is case-control study, as the case group consisted of 36 handwashing and 36 non handwashing as a control group, the number of samples 72. Analysis using Logistic Regression test. Results : Variables that influence the behavior of handwashing behavior is a good pattern of parenting (OR = 6.8, 95% CI = 1.7 to 26.7; p-value = 0.006), an understanding of school rules (OR = 6.7; 95% CI = 1.9 to 23.7; p-value = 0.003), an understanding of the availability of media education / information at school (OR = 3.4, 95% CI = 1.0 to 11.8; p-value = 0.054), the role of the teacher at school (OR = 3.5, 95% CI = 1.0 to 11.4; p-value = 0.041). Conclusion : Handwashing behavior of elementary school children affected by parenting good parents, a good understanding of the availability of media education / information at schools, the role of good teachers at school, and a good understanding of school rules. Tip: Need to increase health education in schools about the importance of the handwashing behavior. Keywords : Behavior, Handwashing, School Children
