Abstract

ABSTRACT Carbon monoxide (CO) is a gas that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. CO is a gas that can affect the levels of COHb in human blood. For people who are exposed to CO gas from PG smoke. Holy Rendeng will continually be bad for his health condition. Under these conditions akibatknya Rendeng village community can experience symptoms of poisoning such as headaches, shortness of breath, mild cough, eye irritation, unconsciousness, and if continued will result in death. Some villagers Rendeng 36 people (30%) complained of ever experiencing these symptoms. Data analysis using the Test Reliability, Validity Test and Regression Test is used to estimate the value of acceptable risk Rendeng village community. From the measurement of CO in the village of Holy Rendeng, the value of CO concentration in air based on the Central Java Governor Decree No. 8 of 2001 and the State Minister for Population and Environment No.Kep-03/MENKLH/II/1991 still below standards specified quality. While the results of measurements of CO levels in the blood of some communities in the Village Rendeng average had exceeded the normal threshold values that have been defined by WHO. The result of the calculation of the value of the risk / hazard index (HI) at a maximum of 6.238764 x10-9 with CO intake value of 5.739663 x10-8 (mg / kg.hari), at point locations in the village of Holy Rendeng Rendeng SDN page. On the whole value of the risk / HI-per-point locations have not exceeded the value of the risk / HI is 1 so that respondents who are exposed to CO gas from PG. Rendeng still acceptable. From the regression equation Y =-1.671x10 2.446x10-11 + + 1355 x10- 11X1-11X2 + e where Y = Value of Risk, X1 = Wind Velocity, X2 = level of Carbon Monoxide (CO).
